"If" Poem Response.

 

The connections I made to this poem was If anything was possible.

This poem is organized with 4 Stanzas, each Stanza having 8 lines, with a unique rhyming pattern of AAAABCBC ABABCDCD ABABCDCD ABABCDCD.

The tone of this poem is Imperfect. For example “If you can wait and not be tired waiting, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise.”

In this poem, I found a metaphor "Make one heap of all your winnings." and some Alliteration "Sixty seconds." I also found a piece of Hyperbole here " Or walk with Kings".

I think the meaning of this poem is anything is possible, even when in doubt from others in the world.
