Kite Making!

Hey guys! Today, Ngakaunui has been doing some learning on the Hauora house. Here is a link to explain what Hauora is, and explains the 4 different parts of it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AemHYVVUppc I have here a kite that relates to Te Taha Tinana, one of the 4 walls of Hauora. It relates to Te taha Tinana because when you fly a kite, you need to run, which uses energy and gives you a portion of exercise.

How to make a Manu tukutuku (Kite):

1 page of newspaper.
1 pair of scissors
1 pencil
2 sticks ( 1 stick the length of Vertical, 1 Horizontal.)
Lots of string (About the length of your couch.)
Strong tape

Here is a link to a video to watch on how to make this kite! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPNut0hVHWY

Here is a picture, or Pikitia of my kite that I made in class today!
