Hey guys! Today Mrs. Raisins' class was doing a google summit! We got to sign up for loads of different activities, games, & learning tools on our Chromebooks.
My first lesson was SHS Pick a path story. It was a slide show or google docs slide with a series of links with options to take you places! It's like your playing IRL (In real life.) Where you need to choose what you want t do! Some options took you to somewhere dangerous, others made you go somewhere in the Sahara! This kind of learning tool is a good way to express learning and make a fun game on slides!
My second lesson was Pixton Comics. Pixton is a way to make comics with avatars, backgrounds, and much more! You can make stories, movies, books, comics, and a whole lot more! You can pick outfits, make an account with your own avatar, and put expressions on them!
My next lesson was SHS Scratch JR. An app to make comics and stories! It's quite similar to Pixton, just a little bit different. You can change your sprites and add animals and objects in the games that you make. You can choose from a series of backgrounds to make the perfect set and make all your sprites and characters move!
My last session was SHS Biteable. An app to make videos, apps, and learning clips to share your learning and have fun creating clips to share learning and make adds for businesses. You can choose different kinds of backgrounds and choose different fonts to customize and make a video fit for a king!
